Bike hire
We’ve been hiring out bikes to our guests for several years now, and know exactly what people need when they’re new to city and want to bike around. Originally we only rented bikes out to our guests, but since the opening of Friend on Griboyedov in summer 2011, we’ve quietly expanded and opened up the business to all comers. We therefore offer the following:

Friends even has a special bicycle for two! It’s a great option for a couple to enjoy an unforgettable ride around St Petersburg!
Prices
Standard city bikes
1 hour = 150 rub.
2 hours = 250 rub.
Every subsequent hour after 2 hours = 50 rub.
Daily hire (10am-8pm) = 450 rub.
Nightly hire (9pm-9am) = 400 rub.
24 hour hire = 500 rub.
2-day hire = 900 rub.
Each additional day = 300 rub.
Hiring Tandem
1 hour = 300 rub.
2 hours = 500 rub.
Additional hours: 100 rub. per hour
24 hour hire = 1000 rub.
48 hour hire = 1800 rub.
Each additional day = 600 rub.
Condition of Bike Hire
- If you rent a bike, you undertake to pay for any damage the bike may suffer while it’s in your charge.
- A deposit of 3000 rub (7000 rub for Tandem) and your passport is needed when you want to hire a bike. We’ll keep both in our safe and return them when the bike has been safely returned.
- Regular customers can pay a lower deposit amount.
- You’ll be given a lock with the bike when you take it; you agree to lock the bike at any time it’s left unsupervised.
- The charge for the bike rental is taken from your deposit at the end of the rental period.
- The client is responsible for the use of the bike. Friends bears no responsibility in the event of the client’s injury or death.
- If you return the bicycle in a dirty state, a further 100-200 rubles will be deducted from your deposit to cover cleaning costs.
