Booking and Payment
1. To book a room at one of the Friends hostels or hotels, you need to either fill out the online booking form, e-mail us a booking request or just call the booking department.
You need to provide the following information:
- Guest name(s)
- Number of guests
- Date and time of arrival
- Room type
- Payment method
- Contactinformation (email or phone number)
- Any additional information we need to know
2. Our reservation team will contact you within 24 hours following receipt of your booking form.
3. If the selected room category is unavailable at the time of your booking, our reservation manager will offer you a room in one of our partner hotels.
4. In order to confirm a reservation, you will be asked to make a prepayment equal to the cost of the first night’s room rate.
5. All payment options are listed on the Payment page of this website.
6. If prepayment is not made within the 48 hours following your booking, the reservation may be cancelled. As soon as you have made the prepayment, please inform us.
7. If for some reason your prepayment has not reached our bank account by the time of your arrival, the receptionist will have to ask you to pay the entire cost of your stay in cash including the unreceived prepayment.
8. The reservation is guaranteed once we receive the prepayment for it. A printed confirmation of the reservation on the company letterhead can be sent by email on demand.
9. A guaranteed reservation remains valid until 11am on the day after the planned check in, in case of late arrival.
Cancellation Rules
1. Cancellation is only possible with a minimum of three days notice.
2. For a cancellation to be valid it has to be made in the form of a written (e-mailed or faxed) notice, and for the hotel to have acknowledged receipt of the notice.
3. Full reimbursement of your prepayment will be made if you cancel your reservation more than three days before your planned check-in date.
4. If cancellation is made less than three days before your planned check-in, or if the day of check-out has been changed to an earlier date, you may be charged an additional amount equal to one night’s stay.
Early Check-in & Late Check-out
Our regular check-in time is 2pm and check-out is normally at midday. If you are planning to arrive before of leave after these times, please inform us beforehand.
1. Early check-in (from 6am) will add another 50% of the daily room rate to your bill.
2. For a late check-out (up to 6pm) we also charge an additional 50% of the daily room rate.
