How to get from:
From Sennaya or Sadovaya metro stations If you arrive at one of these stations, transfer, if necessary, to the Sadovaya station, and take the escalator up towards the city. When you step off the escalator, you will find yourself in an underground passage. Go straight ahead, turn right, and then take the stairs on the left-hand side. After reaching street level and exiting onto Sennaya Square, go straight towards the Griboyedov Canal. Go past the houses on the canal embankment to the third building from Sennaya Square, and walk towards the brown door. This is the entrance to the hostel. Go up to the third floor. Welcome to Friends on Sennaya!
Take bus or minibus number 39. Drive from outside the terminal building to Moskovskaya metro station. Take metro line 2 (coloured blue) to Sennaya ploschad metro station. Follow the description in the tab How to get from Sennaya ploschad metro station.
By metro. Without leaving the station building, take the escalator down to the metro (Ploshchad Vosstaniya), and travel two stops to the Pushkinskaya station. Transfer to the Zvenigorodskaya station, then travel one stop to Sadovaya station. Then follow the instructions in the section “How to get here by metro”.
Using overground transport. After leaving the station, walk to the Ploshchad Vosstaniya bus stop (head for the large Nevsky Centre shopping mall; the bus stop is next to it). Take bus number 181 and get off at the Sennaya Ploshchad stop. Get off the bus, and walk through Sennaya Square in the direction of the Griboyedov Canal embankment. Take a left and walk to the third building from Sennaya Square (after the Pyshechnaya cafe), then walk towards the brown door. This is the entrance to the hostel. Go up to the third floor. Welcome to Friends on Sennaya!
Without leaving the station, take the escalator down to the Ladozhskaya metro station and take the metro to the Spasskaya station. Change to the Sadovaya station. Then follow the instructions in the section “How to get here by metro”.

Friends on Sennaya is located in the historical centre of St. Petersburg, in the Sennaya Square area. The building has two façades: one faces Sadovaya Street, and the other faces the Griboyedov Canal embankment, where the entrance to the hostel is located.
There is a shop selling food on the same block, on the Sadovaya street side, as well as several cafés and restaurants nearby, within a distance of a few dozen metres. Two minutes’ walk will bring you to the Sennaya Ploshchad, Sadovaya, and Spasskaya metro stations, and a ten- or fifteen-minute walk will take you to Nevsky Prospekt or the entrance to the Mariinsky Theatre. Sennoy market is less than 400 metres from the hostel.
