How to get from:
The hotel "Friends on Fontanka" is located a 15-minute walk from several subway stations. The distance from any of these is about 1 km.
Sennaya ploschad, Spasskaya. Exit the subway and turn left. Walk along Sennaya square to the Efimova street and walk forward to the Fontanka River embankment. Turn left and walk along the canal for about 600 meters. Immediately after the Theater house (light green building) turn left on the Instrumentalnaya line (Инструментальная линия). Just 30 meters from the corner you will see the hotel's porch with a sign - Hotel above the entrance.
Dostoevskaya. Exit the subway, turn right and walk a few meters till Shcherbakov pereulok (Щербаков переулок). Go straight, towards Fontanka River embankment. Turn left and walk along the canal. Cross the first bridge - Lomonosov bridge, then turn left again and, after about 200 meters of walk, turn to the first alley on the right - Instrumentalnaya line (Инструментальная линия). Just 30 meters from the corner you will see the hotel's porch with a sign - Hotel above the entrance.
Gostiny Dvor. Coming out of the subway, turn right, walk a few meters towards Sadovaya street, turn right again and go straight on Sadovaya street to the intersection with Lomonosova street. Turn left on Lomonosova street and go straight towards the embankment of the Fontanka River. Then turn right and after about 200 meters turn to the first alley on the right - Instrumentalnaya line (Инструментальная линия). Just 30 meters from the corner you will see the hotel's porch with a sign - Hotel above the entrance.
Take bus or minibus number 39. Drive from outside the terminal building to Moskovskaya metro station. Take metro line 2 (coloured blue) to Sennaya ploschad metro station. Follow the description in the tab How to get from Sennaya ploschad metro station.
Using the main exit, follow signs to Ploschad Vosstaniya metro station. Find the escalator in the middle of the station to get to Mayakovskaya station. Take line 3 (colored green) to Gostinyi dvor metro station. Follow the description in the tab How to get from Gostinyi dvor metro station.

"Friends on Fontanka" located on Fontanka River embankment in the house № 59, which used to be a famous "Lenizdat" publishing in the Soviet years. The house was built in 1964 by architects V.F. Khrushchev and S.N. Neumark. The entrance to the hotel is from the Instrumentalnaya Line.
The hotel is located a 15-minute walk away from several metro stations and a 7-minute walk from Nevsky Prospekt and the Anichkov Bridge, where during the summer time there are few quays of touristic ships.
