About us
There are currently several Friends hotels and hostels in St Petersburg, with a new one due to open in the near future, meaning that we have a suitable price and location for everyone. All our St. Petersburg hotels and hostels are centrally located, just a short walk from the famous main avenue, Nevsky Prospekt. This way, you will always feel right in the middle of the action. When our first hostel opened in St Petersburg in 2006, the hostel format was still relatively unknown in Russia. We used our own travel experiences in Western Europe as a basis for what hostels in Russia needed to be. Instead of functional, cold places to stay for as little money as possible, we wanted a really warm and friendly home from home for people who wanted to get as much as possible out of their visit to St Petersburg without having to spend too much money. Right now, most of our Friends hotels and hostels are located in St Petersburg, but there are plans to expand the network to other cities in Russia – watch this website!
